Twenty somethings

Whats common between Ali Khurshid(star photographer), Simon Pulsifer(the man who edits the wikipedia),Steve Chen and Chad Hurley(people behind youtube.com) and ME ?? ..

2 things:

1. All of us feature on Times Person Of The Year 2006 edition. Yes, you read that right. Thats because the person of the year is 'You.'. ...It includes everyone because we collectively control the info age.....Awesome!!

2. All the above mentioned are in their 20 somethings.

The latter one agonises me to a great extent. What amazed me the most was that they had achieved so much when they were all in there twenty somethings. Please, dont mistake me, I am not jealous(rather i admire their achievement whole heartedly and have unquantifiable respect for such people).

I am in my early twenties with no clue about future. I dont have a direction forget focus. I am just someone in my final yr. of grad with no great achievement till date. But, is it late enough to start ????

I got my answer in a minute. Being religious and having heard the Bhagawad Gita (of which i keep recorded cassettes) i often take it up when i am in a confused state(as i am now)..I was hearing the soothing quotes of the The Gita (as i was typing the above para) as the Swamiji read it and i heared it on my audio tape when the right thing struck me now..

To forget about the past and look into the future. It says that by our present action we have it in ourselves to change the course of our future. The Bhajan that follows the discussion suddenly instills seeds of optimism in me and i find myself more in control. I find myself with unbounded energy and can feel rays of hope emanating from the speakers of my tape.

Thank God!!....Its worked for me again.
